A graduate of Maryland School of Medicine in 1981, Dr. Copeland practiced in Baltimore as a staff and solo practitioner for 18 years. In 2002 Dr Copeland moved west to Las Vegas and took up private practice with Internal Medicine Associates. (IMA) IMA became a leading force in “value-based reimbursements” that included a stint as one of the most successful participants in the Medicare Shared Savings Program from 2012 – 2015. IMA was purchased by DaVita Healthcare Partners in 2015. Dr Copeland has been serving as a Medical Advisor and a Partner to Healthcare 360, Inc, since 2015.
